5th of June 2007- Medical Leave

Hello! Everyone! I’m on medical leave today due food poisoning. Seems i have been missing from everyone recently right? I dont think so worz.. Have been busy for the past 3 months looking out for job and i’ve found it! My last day in NYK will be next friday (15th June 2007). New Job going to start on the 18th of June 2007.

After Chinese New Year, my boss took 3 months medical leave to rest at home due to chemo. Left me alone.. 1 person have to take 3 person’s job and more.. have to do new system’s booking, documentation, accounting, geography profile, customer profile, user registeration and old system’s documentation, accounting, quotation, user registeration and supporting department’s administrative job. I feel like doing too many job, thou learn so many things and yet when i go for interview for documentation job,  they mentioned i have no experience, only wants to give me $1400.. which i think only a diploma grad salary.. 4 yrs in NYK, equals to nothing?? Sad leh.. But anyway.. going to leave this company to start a new phrase of my working life.

I would like to say, i am busy not really because i have a bf but my job problem too. Who knows about my job having problem? When i am depress who knows? Those who knows more are my colleagues.. I just want to say, i am not taking any of my friends for granted. If you are thinking that way, i have nothing to say..

During this half a year, alot of things happened. I lost my hp, so busy at work, alot of colleagues resigned, friendship, health not very good also but the thing i’m happy is my dear is with me. He helps me alot, cares alot and also nags alot. haha! He bought a new handphone for me (Samsung Z720) and a Uzap! Thanks worz! Thanks for some friends too, being by my side. Understanding and concern about me. Able to understand when i unable to turn up for any of the gathering.

Last Sat, i went to SDU KTV again! But that will be my first and last time going there after attached. Reason is because to celebrate farewell for Swee Lan. I bought a cake for her and we cut and share the cake with everyone there. Its mint cake- not nice leh.. next time dont buy liao.

Yesterday received a free lunch from Chin Boon, went Sakae Sushi with him and Jeslyn for my farewell. Today suppose to meet Shealee and Kai Ling for dinner but i think cannot liao lah.. MC, have to stay at home. Coming Thursday going to meet Shileen, Ailing and Wendy for dinner in Tonkichi, long time didnt go liao and also long time no meet!~ Very hard to get everyone together. Then Friday going to meet Sharini, Emeline, Kathy, Meiting and Aimei for dinner in The Rice Table. Suntec branch close liao, we going to Cuppage~

I am now having tomato egg soup with white rice. Yum yum! very nice coz i cooked it. Haha! Enjoying my lunch! Friends and colleagues!~ see you all somewhere soon!~ Byebye!

Hi Everyone! Once again, chinese new year is here. I’m now at my aunty’s house again. Nothing to do, just jot down some of the happening things happened to me for the past few months.

Hm… how i celebrate my New Year countdown? hm.. went genting with Steven and Adrian’s parent and his aunty and uncle. We went Awana resort. Very nice place. 2 queen size bed with a big living room. 2 toilets (1 of it with big jaguzzi). We drove up from Singapore to there. (Of coz its Uncle and Aunty drove, Steven and i just sit there and sleep all the way. haha). Went count down there, nice fireworks. A lot of people squeezing together.

Received my certificate for my Japanese course- elementary 1 on 26th Jan 2007 (Friday). Graduation ceremony @ the Japanese Association.

10th of Feb (Sat), went to a talk organised by Sweelan. Its on "long lasting relationship and finance planning". Venue at YWCA from 9am to 1pm. Went with Steven. Received a gift pack from them. 2 books, 2 perfumes and 2 pens. The talk is very interesting. From there, Steven and i get to know more about each other. Done a simple test. He is a Dominent person while i am a Stable & standard person, which is totally opposite.

Valentine’s Day- Super funny! Steven told me he sent a bouquet of flowers to my office but i didnt received at all. At the end, he bought me another bouquet when i met him at dhoby ghaut. He is very angry and told me he wrote a nasty email to them. That night, he gave my a surprise going to TAO’s restaurant @ paradiz center. Nice environment, nice food but prices abit too expensive. Saw Zhenzheng singing there. a good exposure i think. Something like Min Ge Chan Ting. Singing unplugged music, very soothing and nice.

I took leave on Thursday and Friday to help out my grandma in the market. Very tired worz.. A bit cannot tahan but just help out loe, once a year only. : ) So on Thursday morning, Steven told me that the florist will refund him the bouquet money and will send something to me. But.. i’m in market, and received a call from Ivy around 1130am that the florist send a flowers over to the office. So i have to choice but to go down to the office to collect the flowers and chocolate. So now i received 1 bouquet and 1 backet of flowers. The basket is with 2 pink elephants. Very cute.

These few days really busy, time flies so fast, didnt even have a time to rest. Haha. Yesterday went over to Steven’s house. His mum cooked "Hao Shi Fa Cai", a dish commonly ate by the cantonese, which mean good luck and wealth. Its cooked with mushroom, fa cai, sea cucumber and dried oyster. Very nice.

Now my dear is studying hard hard at home. Exams coming next Monday. Jia you worz, just do whatever you can, k?

- Watch Tim Sum dolly with dear and Ailing at the Victoria Theatre. Hm.. Play is ok but a bit disappointing with the story lah.. After the play, had dinner with dear, Adrian, Nancy and Adrian’s dad. - 4th Nov 06

- Meeting dear very very early for breakfast with his mum and grandma at AMK. After that took mrt to Boon Lay to meet Adrian and Nancy to take us to Raffles Marina for lunch to celebrate Adrian’s dad’s Birthday. -5th Nov 06

- Met Hanjie & Ailing for dinner at Bugis. Belated Birthday celebration from Hanjie to us! ^_^/, Went Aji Tei - 7th Nov 06

- Dear meeting my parents, eating lunch at compasspoint (San Zhong Liang Jian) then go grandma house. At night meet Wendy and Steven Tan and dear to "The Ship" restaurant in Shaw tower. Decoration in the restaurant looks like a ship, food there quite ok, selling western food. Price, hm.. considered as quite expensive. - 11th Nov

- Dear on tv, Superstar project. Repeat telecast at 10am. Super funny! Hehe! Hey! Dear~ i think you sing well, it is just that you are super excited that you sing super fast. No worry k? haha! ^_^/ Today is also my xiao mei’s 13th birthday, early morning didnt see her. Already went out to for basketball tournament. Happy Birthday to you, Ee Ni! -12th Nov

Wahaha! Seems like alot of my friends are October babies which are the same as me! Happy birthday to you all too!

This year’s Birthday is the most special one. Celebrating with special someone by my side. Thanks for being there with me, Steven. So nice of you planning surprises for me on Saturday. ^_^/

Yesterday was our Toonies outing. Consists of Shileen, Yihan, Ailing, Mak, Wendy, Steven Tan, Brenda, Junjie and Steven Wong. We went Karaoke then dinner @ Seoul Garden. Received alot of surprise presents from them. Eh.. and some paiseh presents from them. I wont forget loe.. Thanks huh! Haha : X

I also want to thanks my colleagues. San San, Kailing, Pearlin, Christina, Suat Nee, Doreen, Kailing, Yihyin, Jeslyn & Sharon. Thanks for the mp3! Kelly for the cute tortoise soft toy and birthday wishes from Jo Pa, Lim, Tham, Delfino… etc. Thanks Thanks Thanks!

Birthday lucky number picked for my dad this year- 6400! Yesterday open 6420 1st prize and 4600 starter. Heng Dad bought 4600. I know it is going to open again. You all can go buy 4D too! Win liao know wat to do huh. I want a big ang bao! : P

Conclusion for my birthday- i enjoyed it very much! Thanks everyone for being there with me!! ^_^/

1st Japanese Lesson- 7th Sept 2006 (Thurs)

Heyhey! Long time no write blog! Maybe not that long but ok lah!~ To me is quite long liao. Haha!

This week is a busy week. Monday & Tuesday went external training on ‘Problem Solving’ in Tanglin Mall. Spent 2 days there learning different technics on how to solve problems. Wednesday went back to work and "BOOM!"… alot of emails! Wahaha! But luckily system down, dont have to stay back to finish my User registeration.

Thursday! My 1st Japanese lesson in Japanese Association (Adam Road) sponsered by the company. Lesson starts at 6.30pm so left office 5.30pm sharp. The lesson goes very fast! Imagine what i’ve learnt at my 1st lesson- 15 vowels ( A I U E O, KA KI KU KE KO, SA SHI SU SE SO) in writing and conversation like- Ohiyogozaimasu (Good morning), Konbawa (Good Afternoon), Oyasuminasai (Good Night), Konnichiwa (Hello), Sayonara (Good bye), Domo Arigato gozaimasu (Thank you very much), Do itashi mashite (Welcome), Sumimasen (Excuse me), Daijyobu desu (I’m OK), Dozo (Please), Itte Rasshai (Go and come back, say to someone who is going out), Itte Kimasu/ Itte mairimasu (i’m going and coming back), Tadaima (I’m back), Okaeri Nasai (Welcome home). And also important thingy. Hajimemashite! Watashiwa Eileen desu. Dozo yoroshiku onegaishimasu! (How do you do? I am Eileen. Nice knowing you! ) ^_^/

Wahaha! see! alot right? learnt in one and a half hour? Its really tough for someone if they do not have any ‘touch’ in Japanese. Heng, i’m working in a Japanese company. Therefore can understand abit one what the sinseh is saying.

Supposely have to go back to work today.. but system maintenance- down again. Dont need to go back. I mean.. go back also cannot do anything.. haiz..

Long time didnt go ktv liao leh…. no time no kakis!! haiz.. who wants to sing?? tell me and lets go together! ^_^/

My Make-over!

Yeah! Received my make-over photos last week with the help from Pearlin. Thanks buddy!

Last Saturday was a very very busy. Morning supposly having badminton session with colleagues but cancelled last minute. Went back office to work from 9am to 1pm, to register User ID.. Really not easy.. Hate it man..! Bish! After that went to my grandma’s house to celebrate her 66th birthday! Eat and talk then at night, Primary school gathering. Meet Pearlin in Bugis to pass the make over photos to me. This time only Mingcai, Ailing, Jiancheng, his gf (Ailing). We went to eat "Xiao Yang Er" steamboat- Mongolian steamboat besides "Tian Tian Huo Guo". Not bad, this is my 2nd time eating there. After eating, we went city hall, squeeze with people- to watch the last firework. Super many people loe! Then Hanjie came and meet us too! Its really a bad day for a gathering.. I shall keep this in mind.. to improve the next one.

National Day Previw 2006

I went to the National Day Preview last week. This will be the last national day parade in National Stadium. I went with my Dad, Mum and Yini (my youngest sis). This year so lucky to get choosen from the draw. Thanks to Yini’s lucky IC number! ^_^/

We have to be seated at 4.45pm. See Kallang mrt so many ppl wearing red! Many ppl there walking towards the Kallang Stadium. This is actually my 2nd time going to the Kallang Stadium to watch the National Day Preview. The first time, i went with my mum but forgot how we received the tickets.

See! the Parachute. Mum and Yini! Alot of people watching, clapping hands, kallang waving, free gifts too! haha! my sis received a Hang Ten rubber bracelet, a NDP06’s hp hanger cum cleaner and a NDP06’s key chain. Because we are all sitting near the firework, we have to take an umbrella to hide ourselves when there is fireworks.

See! Some nice Fireworks! Very nice this year! And alot too! Enjoyed myself very much! After the parade i’m too tired to do anything. Super tired and sleepy. Went home and zzzz all the way!~

This is the goodies bag we received. Actually there is more goodies but we finished the goodies already! Theres 2 bottles of mineral water, 2 packet drinks, few packets of tidbits and biscuits, 2 packets of sweets, 1 fan, 1 touchlight, a cap, 6 pictures of tattoo, bubble clappers and our national flag! Anything else?? cant remember.. alot of things indeed. Very very heavy!

Another saturday!~

Yesterday went to the airport to sent Shileen off, she is going to Japan and also picking up, welcoming Wongwiwat coming from Thailand. This morning, slept around 2 am and woke up at 7am.. didnt really have a deep sleep. Still in blurr-ing stage. Later going to play badminton with Brenda & Wongwiwat. Sure blurz.. Very hard to get ppl to play badminton nowadays worz.. coz alot of ppl getting busy. Wonder how can i continue with my badminton exercise.. Change exercise??

Life is very fulfilling for me recently.. July have been a busy month.. inputting datas and testings going on. Vistors from everywhere is flying down to Singapore. From US, IND, KOR, JPN, THA, HKG… etc.. Aug, think still not so bad.. Sept & Oct going to be very busy. Going to take up Japanese elementary class sponsered by the company- for four months starting from Sept. Then going for a enrichment course for 2 days from the company, also in Sept.. And then also going for a pop piano class organised by SDU in Sept for 2 months.. Waha!~ super busy leh.. And in Oct.. ‘Oscar’ launch.. dunno can tahan or not. Aiya, dont care liao, just take and take. Cannot tahan then see how lor!~ : P

Redang trip!~

Hey hey! Hello! Here i am again!~ Went Redang 15th to 18th June and it was FANTASTIC!~ I love that place!~ Really Fun! Hope to go there again! See the sea! Really nice leh.. So relaxing.. dont feel like coming back.

Went there with San san, Kailing, Jeslyn, Shealee, Izac (dunno how to spell, hope i spelled correctly.), Kim Yong, Mark & Kelvin. We meet 10pm at Golden mile complex departure from Singapore. Took the travel bus there. Bus ride was around 11 hours from Singapore to Terrengganu (State in Malaysia). By the time we reached there is around 930am. Then have to take a ferry from the mainland to Redang. Ferry took around 45 mins. Due to our Bus missed its way a few times, we missed our ferry at 930 therefore took the next ferry at 1230pm.

After arriving there. We went to attack the food, having free lunch there. After lunch, some of the went for snorkling, where else Sansan and i went for a swim. Relax for a while then went to the recreational room to play some board games. Then after the games, went for dinner. Raining at night, nothing to play, play mahjong..

2nd morning, San San fall sick.. Unable to play with us.. I went to snorkling after breakfast. Went to the Marine Park. 1st time Snorkling very fun. Alot of fish! Big one, small one, colourful one, dull one, round one, flat one… alot ar! Very fun! Went to another trip of snorkling in the afternoon, took a photo in the sea. See! Nice?? Cute?? haha! After snorkling, having bad headache.. not sure if it is really not enough oxygen coz breath through the mouth underwater. 2nd night rain too! Heard from SheaLee that there is "Blue Lice" at the beach. Its a "insect" giving out blue luminious night at night. No chance to see, heavy rain.. : (

The resort we went is Laguna Redang Island Resort, its a 4 star resort. The whole package cost $295 SGD including breakfast, lunch, dinner & accomodation (4 pax in a room). The room is very big with 4 beds. Quite cheap rite? I do hope to go there again! Maybe next year or the year after!

On the way back from Redang, saw Sok Hoon in Yong Peng. She went Genting. So coincident!

Haha, home from work. Nothing to do, see my past testimonials making me laughing all the way. Especially that Brenda’s testimonial, saying me a laughing machine, without talking people will laugh with me. haha

When friend’s 1st impression when they going to add me is "How come you got so many friends? all not close one ar?" 300+ friends indeed alot but there are still friends i havent add and not enough to add, friendster account full liaoz.. they dont allow me to add anymore, unless open another account.. Friends all over my life. From young young to old old, known from kindergarden, primary, secondary, poly, part-time working, full-time working, through ecas (band and council board can really know alot of people, haha) and even internet friends, known from irc, most of them already meet up before. My relatives also inside here, aunty (younger then me somemore), cousins, sis.. blah blah.. So many rite? haha.

Going through those testimonials, saying me very nice.. Am i really that nice? If nice how come nobody wants leh? Jia lat loe.. Nobody wants, going to be a old yellow haggard women left on the shelf loe. All the friends around me attached, married and have kids liaoz.. My cousins also!! Alamak.. Every chinese new year, sis bring bf, cousins bring bf, i bring ?? myself there. Ah mah, aunty and uncles will ask :"BF leh? got must bring hor" then i reply:" Orrh Orrh, next year. -_-" then continue to eat my melon seeds and watch tv.. ALAMAK!~ save me!

Maybe i too BIG SIZED, too tall (1.7), too independent, too boring liaoz thats why.. AM I? haha. Still waiting for my white horse prince, maybe he lost his way lah.. therefore cant see him yet. Haha
